More about Patricia (Pat) Davison...

Who is Pat Davison?

I have been a Registered Nurse now for twenty-three years. I work in the field of Behavioral Health. I have worked with all age groups and cultures throughout my career. While in nursing, I saw the need for a deeper connection with my patients and began to study alternative therapies. I know that the healing modalities are integral for well-being in any individual seeking well-being.

I am a Reiki Master/Teacher and studied the Usui lineage. I have also taken levels 1 and 2 of Reiki Fire attunements. I have been practicing Reiki since 1997. In 2013 I began to study Healing Touch. This modality of techniques was organized by a nurse named Janet Mentgen. She studied many healing techniques throughout the world and assembled a few for her courses in the Healing Touch Program. I have completed the four levels at this time. I have practiced Healing Touch in the hospital setting and found that those who have depression get great benefits from the treatment.

I use self-healing with these techniques and also have many practitioners who help keep me in balance. I enjoy being out in nature as much as possible. I like to take pictures that inspire and raise my vibration. I practice meditation regularly and get to yoga classes as much as possible. I also like to write and inspire others to seek wellness and vitality. Caring for my spiritual life keeps me balanced. Writing is also a passion. I hope to reach many with inspiration.

What else would you like others to know about you or an experience that has inspired you to this point?

In 1999, I moved to Flagstaff Arizona to adventure in the Southwest. I spent time in Sedona and gave Reiki to a client on Bell Rock. a grounding vortex. It was a powerful experience for both of us. I also did some camping at the Grand Canyon while there. I spent many hours with healers to deepen my knowledge of the healing arts. While in Flagstaff, I worked with people from the Navajo tribe and the Hopi Tribe. I saw some healing ceremonies that their elders provided for them. I do this work because I am a person who desires to help others realize their balance between body, mind, and spirit. This inspires me to see hope for our humanity and that the future will be rich with wellness, peace, and joyful living.

Why do you do what you do?

My most important life lesson is that living a heart-centered life is the most satisfying. This has been a realization from many years of study and practice. I am an intuitive person which in turn has a lot of sensitivity. Once I achieved heart-centered living, I achieved a strong connection to my Higher Power, may it be God, Buddha, Jesus, or any prophet of the spirit. One can live life with ease and flow.
